Gerald Mc Clendon (lead vocalist) is an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer. He has recently produced and released his own CD, "Choose Love". Gerald is a featured vocalist on the CD, "Tribute to Aerosmith", soon to be released by the House of Blues. Gerald sang lead vocals on several radio commercials, local and national, for Budweiser, Ameritech and Schlitz, among others. He's also performed abroad--Australia, Asia, Hawaii as well as local clubs including the popular Back Room on Rush Street, the Green Dolphin and Kingston Mines. Marty Silber (vocals, keyboards) has been a featured performer at Chicago's Baja Beach Club, The Zebra Lounge, Windsor's in the Palmer House Hilton, and the world famous Redhead Piano bar. Marty performs in the Chicagoland area as well as many well known venus in Las Vegas. Marty has the ability to play most any song requested "on the spot"; this always makes for a spontaneous and energetically creative Public i performance.
Carlo Basile (guitar, vocals) has a degree from Loyola University and a second degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Northeastern Illinois University. Carlo has performed in the NEIU Jazz Big Band and the NEIU chorus. Additionally, Carlo has produced and performed on local commercial spots. Carlo is recently earned a masters degree in classical/flamenco guitar. Carlo performs flamenco with The Guitars of Spain.


Joe Pratt (bass, vocals) has performed with the Albert King Band as well as Johnny Taylor (of "Disco Lady" fame). Joe has toured the U.S. and has worked in opening and headlining national acts. He has played on the same stage with B.B. King, Bobby Bland, and Tyrone Davis.

Randy Antlept (drums, vocals) has performed with various bands including Off Broadway, Black and Blonde, The Redstones, and Secret Agent Band. Randy is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, majoring in Percussion Performance. Randy has also won many awards for his song writing and vocal abilities.

Patty Ortega (singer) has Mexican/Cuban musical roots and has performed with groups ranging from the Lyric Opera Children's Choir to several original and cover bands before venturing on her solo musical path. Patty's soulful voice and eclectic vocal stylings add yet another dimension to the Public i sound.

Vince Salerno (saxophone, flute, harmonica) is a 25 year veteran of the Chicago Rhythm & Blues scene having performed as a member of bands featuring Eddie Clearwater, John Little John, Vanessa Davis, Lefty Diz, and Phil Guy. Vince studied saxphone with Howard Levy and John Portnoy of Muddy Waters Band.
